Hey everyone! I'd like to share details about one of our recent shows in the heart of Southern Illinois!
For this special Sanity/Switch adventure, we traveled to Anna, IL, on November 16th to rock the house at Sinisi's, a Chicago-style Italian restaurant.
Sinisi's has become a favorite food spot for many in the area and beyond. In fact, it all started as a humble hot dog stand on Main Street.
The owners, Kris and Mike, eventually renovated the building behind it and expanded the ever-evolving menu, adding a full restaurant and bar.
We arrived around 6 in the evening, greeted by friendly faces and the amazing aroma of delicious food, including Chicago Dogs, Italian Beef, pasta, and so much more!
Chris kicked off the show at 8 p.m. with some epic karaoke and even started taking requests! After hitting some high notes and shining on his own, he announced that we would soon be taking the stage.
The crowd beamed with excitement, eagerly awaiting the performance of Sanity/Switch!
Just after 9 p.m., the show officially began! We rocked out and played many songs, including fan favorites Shattered Glass and Breaking Down.
From my perspective behind the Mapex Mars drumkit, it was clear that the audience had their passion for music on full display! There was so much energy and love for Sanity/Switch, which was very much appreciated!
We were also equipped with laser lights and fog machines, which created incredible ambiance for the show, seamlessly blending visuals and music.
After an energetic performance, the show concluded to thunderous applause! We had the chance to chat with so many amazing people and were happy to be available for merch signings and photographs!
Many people asked us, "When is Sanity/Switch returning to Anna?"
We're actively working on music and show dates for 2025. We loved rocking out in Anna and hope to add Southern Illinois to the list of live performances next year!
